Events

NoxiousOT developped a series of unique PVP, PVE and miscellaneous events for players to enjoy playing. Events get organised automatically every 30 minutes (or manually by Staff Members) and last somewhere between 8-15 minutes depending on the event. Depending on the type of event and the score while inside the event, the reward may vary. The reward is usually an amount of Noxious Tokens. In group events, even the members of the losing team gets a small amount of Noxious Tokens as a reward. In group events, the members of the winning team will also receive a NoxiousOT Contest Token.

Most events have a minimum level requirement of 100, although some only require you to be level 80.

Group Events

Boss Battles

Minimum level:		100
PvP enabled:		no
Goal:		Defeat the spawning bosses and avoid dieing.
Maximum score:		200
Maximum duration:		10 minutes
How it works:		All participants are split in two teams, each team in their own room. Hard bosses will spawn one at a time, and the goal is to kill these bosses without dieing too often. Killing a boss yields 30 score and once a boss dies, the next one spawns. Dieing yields 1 score to the opposing team. The team who reaches the maximum score first, or the team with the highest score after the maximum duration has expired, wins the event.
Tips:		Druids should try to trap the bosses with Wild Growth. Mages should always be using Mana Shield. Some bosses hit hard on a distance, others hit hard from closeby, so look carefully what type of boss you have and adapt strategy accordingly.
Reward:	Winners:	15 Noxious Tokens, 1 NoxiousOT Contest Token
	Losers:	5 Noxious Tokens

Capture the Flag

Minimum level:		100
PvP enabled:		yes
Goal:		Capture the other team's flag and return it to your own base to score points.
Maximum score:		100
Maximum duration:		15 minutes
How it works:		All participants are split in two teams, each team has their own "home base". The goal is to infiltrate the opposite team's base, capture their flag and return it to your own base. You will have to fight the players in the other team to be able to get through. Killing someone from the other team will yield 1 score. The team that captures the flag three times first, reaches the maximum score first, or has the highest score after the maximum duration has expired, wins the event.
Tips:		There are plenty of spots where you can trap people and prevent them from running any further, meaning instead of having to run you'll also have to fight other people.

Defend The King

Minimum level:		100
PvP enabled:		yes
Goal:		War the opposing team and kill their king if you get the chance.
Maximum score:		130
Maximum duration:		12 minutes
How it works:		All participants are split in two teams, each team has their own "home base" where their King is located. For the duration of this event, everyone on the event will have the same level, skills, magic level and equipment. After spawning, the goal is to move towards the center bridge and engage in a full-on war against the other team. You will need to put knights in front, shoot Magic Walls and try to kill as many of the other team as possible. You will be able to slowly move towards the other team's base and get a chance to kill their king! Killing the opposite team's king will yield 30 score, killing someone from the other team yields 1 score. The first team to hit the maximum score or to have the highest score when the maximum duration expires wins the event.
Tips:		This event is all about skill when engaging in war. The kings are there to allow a new war to start if one team is successful in breaching the other team's defences.

King of the Hill

Minimum level:		100
PvP enabled:		yes
Goal:		Gather points by standing on the 4 hill tiles of the correct hill as long as possible.
Maximum score:		800
Maximum duration:		12 minutes
How it works:		All participants are split in two teams. You can leave your spawn point and will enter a large island with 3 hills. Each hill has 4 hill points, clearly indicated as an orange tile. Every few minutes, a random hill is chosen. This hill has to be claimed by standing on as many of the 4 tiles as possible with your team. You can push and kill the opposite team to free up their spot and claim it. Standing on the correct tiles will yield score for your team. The longer you stand on them, the more score you will yield. Killing someone from the other team yields 1 score. The first team to hit the maximum score or to have the highest score when the maximum duration expires wins the event.
Tips:		You can treat this event as a war event: the goal is to claim the correct tiles by killing and pushing the other team's members. You can shoot Magic Walls around the hill to prevent the opposite team from getting to you.

Noxious Party

Minimum level:		100
PvP enabled:		no
Goal:		Play each mini-game as best as you can to increase your team's overall score.
Maximum score:		500
Maximum duration:		10 minutes
How it works:		All participants are split in two teams, each team in their own room. For the duration of Noxious Party, Several short mini-games will have to be played to gather score: - Channeling Demon: Kill the Channeling Demon boss first to get 30 score for your team. You can only damage it while it's red. If you attack it while its green, you will heal it instead. - Zombie Invasion: Similar to the Zombie Event. The Zombies are rising from the ground, you must avoid them at all costs. Getting killed by a zombie will yield score to the opposing team. - Soccer: Push the balls towards any green transporter as fast as possible. Scoring a ball will yield 2 score. - Volcano: Avoid getting hit by incoming fireballs. You can see where a fireball will drop. Every square around that square will be hit, so move away from those 9 squares. Getting hit yields score to the opposing team. - Goblin Bomber: Goblins will spawn and charge your team. When they find a target, they'll explode within 3 seconds. Try to kill them before they explode. Killing a goblin yields 3 score. Being blown up by a goblin yields 2 score to the opposing team. - Trash Transporter: Find the working transporter and throw all the trash you find on the ground through it. 1 score per correctly thrown trash item. The first team to hit the maximum score or to have the highest score when the maximum duration expires wins the event.

Team Deathmatch

Minimum level:		100
PvP enabled:		yes
Goal:		Gather points by standing on the 4 hill tiles of the correct hill as long as possible.
Maximum score:		150
Maximum duration:		10 minutes
How it works:		All participants are split in two teams. You can leave your spawn point and will enter a large island with some stairs, narrow passages, etc. Now begins the fight until death. Simply try to kill as many members of the opposing team as possible. Killing someone from the other team yields 1 score. The first team to hit the maximum score or to have the highest score when the maximum duration expires wins the event.
Tips:		You can treat this event as a war event. You can try to trap people and kill them in several locations, or just have an all out fight in the open.

Individual Events

Global Trivia

This event can only be started manually by Staff Members.

PvP enabled:		no
Goal:		Anwer a Trivia question correctly.
Maximum score:		∞
Maximum duration:		∞
How it works:		When Trivia is running, it will ask a new question every minute. Just answer the question correctly with '!t <answer>' to get a reward.
